You will need a Request for Order [form FL-300] to make your request for modification of your Parenting Plan, adjustments to custody, visitation, and child support by Court order.  Filing the RFO sets a Court date for a hearing where the judge will consider the evidence. Establishing child support orders early in a family law case with minor children is crucial because initial arrangements for child custody, visitation, and financial support often set the status quo and can heavily influence the final court orders. A person needs to renew their restraining order before the current restraining order expires. Guardianship of the Person is a Court-appointed legal arrangement that allows a person to make care decisions for a minor or an incapacitated adult who cannot make decisions for themselves, ensuring their well-being, safety, and providing for their daily needs, such as housing and medical care. Guardianship of the estate is a court process where a person is appointed to manage the finances, money, or property of a minor or an incapacitated adult, protecting and preserving assets on their behalf.  Puente Legal Document Assistant, LLC can design and file your Petition to Appoint a Temporary Guardian of the Estate, as well as assist in the filings to maintain your Permanent Guardianship, once established.

If you have been legally determined to be the biological parent of child but believe the child is not yours, you may need to challenge the determination of Parentage in Court.  Strict timelines will apply.  Puente Legal Document Assistant, LLC can design and file your formal Request for Order with the Superior Court that issued the original Judgment of Parentage, stating the legal reason for your request.  

A Judgment of Dissolution contains the final orders in a divorce case, but enforcement, modification or stay of the orders contained in your Judgment of Dissolution may require going back to Court.  Puente Legal Document Assistant, LLC can design and file your formal Request for Order for enforcement, set-aside of the Judgment, or modification of the Judgment terms after your Judgment has already been entered.  Post-Judgment relief often requires personal service on the other Party.

Puente Legal Document Assistant, LLC can assist you in designing and filing a Petition to change your name.  A standard adult name change in California requires filing a Petition with the Superior Court and can be done for many reasons.  Thereafter, you will need to publish a Public Notice in an approved local newspaper once a week for four consecutive weeks, attend your Court [often brief] hearing to secure your Court order (Decree Changing Name) from a Judge.
